“ 僕は珍しく激怒。本気で怒るのは、それこそ、４年に一度あるかないか。昔、医師会が、古賀医師会長名（まだ会長やっていますが）で、学校医の引き上げを新聞の折り込み広告に入れて脅迫したとき以来。僕は筋が通らないことは大嫌い。既得権益にしがみつく特権階級も唾棄したい。 クーラーについては、財政が厳しい中で、僕が議会に頭を下げて、子どもたちの教育環境のために実現させたもの。それを勝手にないがしろにしたことよりも、もっと怒ったのは、校長室や教員の職員室にはのうのうとクーラーが付いている事実。 あのね、子どもたち、生徒に我慢を強いるのであれば、自分たち、教員も同じようにしろよ。学校の教員ってそんなに偉いのか。しかも、今日は、武雄でも３６℃を超し、子どもたちの教室での体感温度は、相当なはず。
